| While performing Safety Recall G28 some technicians are breaking the steering column slide bracket during gear shift module removal. It is important to rotate the shift module assembly towards the steering column and then lower the assembly from the column (Step 12 of the recall repair procedure) to prevent breakage. Mopar has released the steering column slide bracket as a separate part.
